Ballard Power Systems has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with The City of Sao Pãulo, Brazil for 25 FCvelocity-HD6 fuel cell modules to power 25 buses in that city. The city of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) is launching an electric taxi program, through a partnership between the Rio de Janeiro City Government, Nissan do Brasil Automóveis (NBA) and Petrobras Distribuidora.
