Gasoline consumption in California rose 2.4% during FY 2014-15; largest yearly increase in a decade

The California State Board of Equalization (BOE) announced that gasoline consumption in the state rose 2.4% The rise in fuel consumption signals a strengthening California economy, with cheaper gas prices encouraging more vehicle travel. In FY 14-15, Californians consumed 14.921 billion gallons of gasoline, a 2.4% in FY 13-14.

Navigant: sales of light duty vehicles to total more than 2.1 billion from 2015 to 2035
