Raser first unveiled its Extended Range Series Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) drive system, developed with FEV, at the 2008 SAE World Congress in Detroit. The proposed solar power project will be built at Raser’s Thermo site in southern Utah, using photovoltaic (PV) solar panels and transmission equipment manufactured by HHI.

KHLim’s CO 2 neutral area produces its own green energy through wind, heat and solar.

Wind and road noise were reduced partly due to acoustic laminated glass and sound-deadening insulation. Utilizing both 400 and 800 volt charging, the slowest is by a standard 120V household plug that delivers a full charge in about two and a half days. There was limited body roll and the ride was comfortable and confident.
