That may be about to change as the company has completed the final set of permitting paperwork that would allow it to sell fully-autonomous taxi rides in the city. Uber and Lyft have instead chosen to work in cities in Texas, Nevada, and Arizona.

Ford Motor Company has designated BAF Technologies, Inc., BAF’s alternative fuel vehicle upfitting capabilities include aftermarket compressed natural gas (CNG) conversions of Ford-manufactured vans, cutaway shuttles, taxis, pick-ups and light-duty trucks. Its vehicle conversions include taxis, vans, pick-up trucks and shuttle buses.
