Elio Motors, the start-up vehicle manufacturer planning to launch a three-wheel vehicle that will get up to 84 mpg (2.8 l/100 km), is establishing a vehicle purchase base price of $7,300 for its non-refundable reservation holders until the company reaches 65,000 total reservations. in 2016 dollars.

In contrast, electric trikes are significantly cheaper to purchase and maintain. More interesting to me though, was what they were using instead of our work trucks.
