London belongs to one of the largest cities in the world. London's undergrounds is one of the most developed in the world but also one of the oldest in the world counting over a 100 years. Overall the benefits that come from electric drives are huge, there is simply no pollution in the direct way, it's quiet and efficient.

In 2018, the Government will publish a comprehensive Clean Air Strategy which will address other sources of air pollution. Air quality in the UK has been improving significantly in recent decades, with reductions in emissions of all of the key pollutants, and NO 2 levels down by half in the last 15 years.

Ultra Low Emission Zones (ULEZ) seem to be the next step, as they’re reliant on the same camera systems and vehicle tracking used for congestion taxes. Originally framed as a way to improve air quality throughout London, ULEZ cameras have started to proliferate more suburban communities. Londoners very clearly did not.

Along with Tedd Abramson’s Zero Truck in San Diego and Smith Trucks in London, we now have EVI (I keep wanting to write that as EV1:~). The more the merrier, the market for these is going to explode soon with Obama’s stimulation plan, and its tax of $7,500 to $15,000 for electric trucks. Sounds good to me.

The prototype vehicle, called Project PUMA (Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility), is designed to ease congestion and pollution problems in cities. These PUMAs dont pollute the air, they dont make loud noises, and they go slow enough to prevent a lot of traffic accidents, especially for teens. Look at it this way.
