StoreDot, the Israel-based developer of extreme fast charging battery technology for electric vehicles, has delivered cells that have exceeded 1000 cycles in production-ready EV form factor. The cells exhibit the promised ‘100in5’ EV performance, allowing drivers to charge consecutively 100 miles of range for each 5 minutes of charging.

Better Place introduces Renault Fluence ZE EV and pricing for Israel

Better Place unveiled its first EV it will sell in the Israel market, the Renault Fluence ZE. Buyers will be given a choice of a service packages ranging from 20,000 km (12,400 miles) to 30,000 km (18,600 miles) usage per year. Basic price of the vehicle will be NIS 122,900 (US$34,865) excluding the necessary service package.

Alcoa and Phinergy enter joint development agreement for high energy-density aluminum-air batteries
