True Zero reported that fuel cell electric vehicles in California have used 250,000 kilograms (250 metric tons) of clean hydrogen—and driven 17 million miles—supplied by 18 retail stations owned and operated by the company.

Toyota began retailing its Mirai fuel cell vehicle in California late last year and Honda will begin deliveries of its Clarity fuel-cell car in California by year end. Just during the past week Honda, one of the pioneers and stalwarts of the fuel cell market, announced it is discontinuing the low-volume Clarity, which is only sold in California.
