Google believes that a future state with having computers drive cars can “ remove a gigantic chunk ” of the US fatalities.

And yes, I know about degloving accidents (please don’t google that). The canvas jacket is certainly not a winter coat, but it keeps me warm enough in the moderate Florida and Tel Aviv winter I’ve been testing it in. I spent a few days in the Florida sunshine this week, behind the wheel of a most basic 2023 Corolla LE. Worth reporting: Android Auto sometimes refused to connect to a phone (Google Pixel 6a). Steering via the decent-feeling rubber wheel is incredibly light, with single-finger turning an option even when sitting still.
