For extended range I guess one could carry a fairly modest generator set in the trunk to avoid ever being stranded. Companies like ECOtality are already working with Nissan, which seems to have given up on battery swapping. my idea is that it would work the way propane tanks work now. Looking for a better auto insurance rate?
