Unveiled at the ACT Expo in Long Beach, Calif., The extended range (ER) version of the 8TT and 6F offer a range of up to 200 miles on a charge. BYD unveiled two battery-electric heavy-duty trucks, the Gen3 8TT and 6F. the Gen 3 8TT and 6F feature cabs styled by Wolfgang Josef Egger, the former Audi chief designer.

A drivable prototype of the W-15 will be unveiled at the Advanced Clean Transportation Expo in Long Beach, California, on May 2. Designed specifically to meet the needs of commercial fleets, the W-15 is believed to be the first plug-in, range-extended pickup truck built from the ground up by an original equipment manufacturer (OEM).

Tropos Motors has released the new eXtended Range, ABLE XR low-speed electric utility vehicle. The Tropos Motors eLSVs will be on exhibit at EPRI’s Electrification 2018 Conference and Exhibition in Long Beach, 20-23 August. The Tropos ABLE XR is slated for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2018.
