The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is announcing the availability of grant funding to implement projects aimed at reducing emissions from the nation’s existing fleet of older diesel engines. New Jersey and New York has been granted $1.4million to clean up a number of long-haul trucks based in the area. The vehicles will use ultra-low sulphur diesel with 20 per cent biodiesel.
