It isn't just Hyundai and Kia in deep water over misleading MPG claims--now Ford is the subject of a lawsuit over the MPG of its hybrid models. The federal lawsuit concerns the fuel economy of its most recent hybrid models, the C-Max Hybrid and Fusion Hybrid.

The BRZ is EPA rated at 20 mpg city/27 highway/22 combined mpg. mpg, which we thought was great considering how much fun we had whipping through the gears while seeking out every twisty road we could find. Hyundai has begun the US sales rollout of its Ioniq line of electrified vehicles, which come in hybrid, plug-in hybrid and battery-electric variants. The Ioniq Hybrid boasts the highest fuel economy in the US (up to 58 mpg) for a non-plug-in vehicle and the Ioniq Electric is the industry’s most efficient EV (136 mpge).

The dash layout is logical, simple and clean, with three round gauges (tachometer, speedometer and water temperature/fuel) with black faces and white letters were easy to read. The EPA rates the CX-9 AWD at 20 mpg city/26 highway/23 combined. This is respectable fuel economy for an AWD, 4,400-pound, six-passenger crossover.
