In addition to the debut of the 2011 Sonata Hybrid ( earlier post ), Hyundai unveiled its first four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline direct-injection (GDI) engine with the Sonata 2.0T Honda Accord V6. The waste-gate for the turbocharger uses a motor-driven electrical controller instead of being mechanically controlled.
