The driving range in pure electric mode is short, so best save that battery juice for parking garages or sneaking in late at night. To keep those lofty perches, sitting still will not do. The company plans to do it with a mixture of all-electric vehicles, like the new XC40 Recharge, and plug-in hybrid versions of its SUVs and sedans.
