Recently I purchased another VW kit car that has from what I can tell a pretty complete set up. I have posted here before with a different VW kit car build which was a 72v Wilderness EV kit in a Bentley kit body roadster. At that time I was using Trojan 12v LA batteries. Pretty straight forward and easy build.

EV Grinning, we have just completed our conversion from gas to electric, two weeks ago the Fiero passed it's safety test with no problems. Even though the range is less than I expected, I am really enjoying showing the conversion to people and their shock when I open the rear deck to expose the engine conpartment.

As my parts have arrived in good condition, I have progressed from selecting, purchasing to installing the electronics for my conversion (phase 3). Materials are everything! My next step was to create a shelf within the motor compartment. Thinking of light material I chose 1X2 pine boards as shelving material.

All of this went back together very nicely and concluded phase 3 of the project ( choose, purchase and install the electronics of the EV conversion). s), relays, gauges, and wiring, to progress to phase 4 ( the selection, purchase and installation of the batteries)??Its At this point I still hadn?t t tested the Unit.

I have purchased a 1995 Mazda b 2300 small truck with the intent of converting it into an EV. Purchase price was $ 650.00 with a blown motor on 7/15/2009, the seller bought this truck at an auction, untested, just to discover that it has a serious problem, blown piston ,rings, or valves, who knows, it did run but smoke, whooiee!!!

I heard that you can change zones 3 times and then you have to purchase another car. Thas why this dingy ole thing wont work on regular plugs ere in britan!
