The City of Venice, Florida, recently purchased three Tesla Model 3 units and will test the fleet of all-electric sedans to see if they are effective tools in reducing the cost of operating multiple vehicles for government purposes. The other two units appear to be Tesla’s Rear-Wheel-Drive Model 3. I’d love to hear from you!

The Ford Mustang Mach-E all-electric vehicle became the first EV to pass the rigorous testing standards set by the Michigan State Police to have a vehicle be considered for inclusion in its fleet. The most notable example of cost savings was displayed in a recent report released by the Westport, Connecticut Police Department.

A potential fleet of Tesla Police Cruisers was rejected by Spokane, Washington’s Police Department after an evaluation of the all-electric Model Y crossover did not convince some members that the vehicle would be effective for law enforcement. McNab seems unconvinced of the advantages.
