EPA announces $46M for latest Diesel Emissions Reduction Act funding

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded $8 million to communities in 21 states and Puerto Rico to reduce emissions from the nation’s existing fleet of diesel engines through the agency’s Diesel Emission Reduction Act ( DERA ) program. EPA approves emergency gasoline fuel waivers for 16 states and DC

EPA Grants California Vehicle GHG Regulations Waiver

These grants are available when a vehicle is either purchased or leased for 36 months or longer. While in EV Mode, the Prius Plug-in is rated by the EPA to drive up to 11 miles. In hybrid mode, it has an EPA combined mileage rating of 50 mpg. It’s also capable of traveling up to 62 mph (100 km/h) using electric power alone.
