Porsche extensively updated its all-electric Taycan last September for the new model year. Porsche is making the software update available free of charge on a worldwide basis. Meanwhile, with wireless Apple CarPlay, iPhone apps are now available in the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system via a wireless connection.

Just a few months after the launch, Porsche is expanding its charging service for plug-in and electric vehicles ( earlier post ) by five countries and additional functions. A new feature offered by the Porsche Charging Service is a rating function. In Germany, the fee for using the Porsche Charging Service is €2.50 (US$2.86) per month.

Porsche will unveil the Panamera S Hybrid, its second production hybrid model, later this year.
