While some manufacturers like GM and Hyundai struggle with battery recalls and fire issues, BYD electric cars are safe and affordable. In comparison, the lithium-ion comparison battery was said to have reached 500 degrees and an LFP block battery was said to have reached 200 to 400 degrees. I have never seen anything like it.

Edmunds’ analysis found that a hybrid or electric trade-in is more likely to go toward the purchase of a SUV (33.8%) than another hybrid or EV. of EV trade-ins went toward the purchase of a SUV, compared to just 4.8% By comparison, only about 1.4% went toward a gas-guzzling purchase of a large SUV or crossover SUV.
