Fuel cells had been promoted in some sectors as the best alternative to the internal combustion engine. If you look at the environmental aspects it also doesn’t make any sense.

Iceland, Norway, Canada, Sweden, New Zealand, and Austria were the global leaders in hydroelectric as of 2019. It comes from natural sources that continuously regenerate, such as sunlight, wind, water (in motion), and geothermal.
