by homercles82 April 7, 2009 11:23 AM PDT Yes we will just be charging these cars using electricity that is made from naturla gas and coal fired palnts while we ignore nuclear unlike most of Europe. If a go-cart cant legally drive there, then this thing wont be able to either. Cyclists will complain and moterists will complain.

But its monumentally less pollution , even on the national (half-coal) grid. While other national and international organizations have been supportive at government hearings, they havent yet begun to advocate for PHEVs. Better yet, make a tax-deductible contribution. What do environmental groups think of PHEVs?

Experts predict that by the year 2060 global warming, if left unchecked, could result in a temperature rise of seven degrees Fahrenheit higher than temperatures before the Industrial Revolution when man started widespread use of coal and other fossil fuels.
