In Namibia, we are currently setting up an industrial-scale production with the support of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK). Instead of carbon dioxide, this technology produces only water vapor, which can be reused for hydrogen production. Airtight rotary kiln for iron reduction.

Audi is partnering with the Zurich-based environmental start-up and promoting a future technology with the project. Water from the Hellisheiði power plant then flows through the facility and transports the carbon dioxide roughly 2,000 meters below the surface of the Earth. The water returns to the cycle of the geothermal power plant.
