Clean Energy Fuels Corp delivered 143 million gallons of Redeem Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) last year as robust sales of the carbon-neutral transportation fuel continued in 2019, closing out the year with significant deals throughout North America. In 2019 Clean Energy provided an estimated 16 million gallons of Redeem to UPS.

UPS plans to purchase approximately 700 liquefied natural gas (LNG) trucks and to build four refueling stations by the end of 2014. An initial investment of more than $18 million to build fueling stations will be supported by the purchase of the 700 LNG tractors and continued expansion of the natural gas fleet in the US.

UPS has purchased another 48 heavy tractor trucks equipped to run on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). and Las Vegas, Nev., UPS is the only private delivery company using this technology in its fleet and now has more than 1,100 natural gas-powered vehicles in service. UPS has contracted with Clean Energy Fuels Corp.

Daimler Truck North America (DTNA), a subsidiary of Daimler Truck, revealed the Freightliner SuperTruck II in Las Vegas this week. The grille, air intakes and doors were redesigned to be as seamless and clean as possible in order to not compromise the aerodynamics of the truck.
