Hyundai Motor Company will establish a Hyundai Mobility Global Innovation Center in Singapore (HMGICs) to accelerate its innovation efforts, with support from the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). HMGICs will become Hyundai’s global open innovation hub. It also will help define the future business direction for the company.

General Motors has acquired substantially all the assets of Israel-based battery software startup ALGOLiON Ltd. ALGOLiON employees, including the company’s founders, will remain based in Israel and join more than 850 employees at the GM Technical Center in Herzliya, Israel. for an undisclosed sum.
