Ferguson Enterprises is collaborating with Ford Motor Company to place a first-of-its-kind F550 Fuel Cell Prototype Chassis Work Truck in service within Ferguson’s daily fleet operations for six months. This is an image for Ferguson’s current fleet. An image of the prototype is not yet available.

PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay North America division will purchase 100 Newton Series 2000 all-electric commercial vehicles in 2012 from Smith Electric Vehicles, bringing the total number of its electric fleet to more than 280. The initial amount of cells will be used to build a test fleet of Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles with range extender as well as a certain number of Electric Vehicles for an Asian vehicle manufacturer. This initial equity stake also includes the initial commercial supply contracts for delivery of battery cells between LTC and FN Research.
