Toshiba Corporation has received an order to supply a large-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) for a power frequency regulation project in Hamilton, Ohio. Toshiba’s SCiB charges and discharges efficiently in a wide range of temperatures, high and low. The BESS started operation in January this year.
