ABB and Eviny have collaborated on the first installations of ABB’s Terra 360. The charging stations can simultaneously charge up to two vehicles with dynamic power distribution. With a maximum output of 360 kW, the Terra 360 is capable of fully charging an electric car in 15 minutes or less.

Norwegian Electric Systems (NES) has signed a new contract with Havyard Ship Technology, Leirvik for the delivery of hybrid electric systems for three new ferries owned by Norway`s largest ferry company Fjord1. All three ferries will be capable of all-electric operation with fast charging. Norwegian Electric DC switchboards.

Epyon BV, a leading European supplier of intelligent charging solutions for electric vehicles, has started delivering EV fast-charging systems to Lyse Energi in Norway. The Terra 51 is a DC fast charger with output power up to 50 kW, and is compatible with all electric vehicles using the CHAdeMO standard.

Norway now has two swap stations in operation, and Nio claims it will have 20 swap stations across Europe in countries including Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Sweden by the end of this year. This is perhaps why many swap stations have conventional cable-based conductive charging units installed in close proximity.
