Several departments in the United States, including Fremont, California, Westport, Connecticut, and Hastings on Hudson, New York , have all added Tesla vehicles to their fleet. However, the addition of a Mach-E seems to be a smart move, especially as lack of maintenance costs and the lack of gas station visits will save the Department money.

A charge timer allows you to set charge start and finish time. The charge port is moved from the front driver-side fender to the rear passenger-side fender, while the charger is now moved back with the smaller battery pack. The result is a shorter distance from the charge port to the charger/battery, reducing weight.
