Significant steps have been taken by the US state of Oregon as Governor Ted Kulongoski signed into law a series of bills that constitute a climate change package. Senate Bill 38: This expands the reporting requirements on greenhouse gas emissions to imported natural gas, electricity and transportation fuels.

No mistaking it, this is a test car. They are expecting this car to sell for $25K-$33K before tax incentives. I was very impressed with the ride.

The US Environmental Agency (EPA) has granted California’s waiver request enabling the state to enforce its greenhouse gas emissions standards (Pavley I) for new motor vehicles, beginning with the current model year. mpg in 2016 (39 mpg for cars, 30 mpg for trucks), or approximately 250 grams CO 2 /mile.
