About 32% of all electric trucks nationwide are in California, where for every electric truck there are about 300 diesel trucks (all years, Classes 3-8).

Hertz will begin renting eight CNG Honda Civics and two CNG GMC Yukons at Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City early next month. Oklahoma City is serving as a pilot program for Hertz’s CNG airport rentals program. Last year, Hertz introduced the addition of CNG vehicles through Hertz On Demand at Oklahoma State University.

Previously, retail sales of the natural gas-powered Civic had been limited to four states: California, New York, Utah and Oklahoma.
