Mercedes-Benz Cars has opened a factory for plug-in hybrid (PHEV) batteries in the Bangkok region in Thailand. The new plant is the third production facility in the company’s global battery production network. The production facilities are highly standardized and flexible. The aim is a carbon neutral new car fleet until 2039.
