Plans for a 2012 general release of the PHEV Escape did not wow anyone. Of course Ford needed some plan to deal with last year's high gas prices. As with the BMW MINI E , what is stunning, if not surprising, is how quickly a decent fully electric vehicle can be put on the road. Still no firm numbers, nor irrevocable commitment.

(In In this paper PHEV refers solely to the long-range PHEV of 60 miles (100 km) electric-only range.) It is much more than that.

Just like the Taycan, there’s a two-speed transmission on the rear axle, and a focus on coasting rather than regeneration to extend battery range.

I really would love to get a 120D coupe BMW u cant beat 0-60 of 7.5 and 49 mpg.
