bp pulse building Europe’s first public fast charging corridor for electric trucks along major logistics route; 300 kW charge points

bp pulse, bp’s electric vehicle (EV) charging business, has announced the first charging corridor for medium- and heavy-duty electric trucks (E-Trucks) in Europe. Six public charging locations with ultra-fast 300kW charge points aimed at E-Trucks have been launched along a 600km stretch of the Rhine-Alpine corridor across Germany.

Volvo recalls all EX30 electric SUVs over a software glitch, but an OTA update should fix it

Volvo said owners can either accept the update on their vehicle or take it to the dealership to have it installed free of charge. Although Volvo was scheduled to begin building the EX90 in South Carolina before the end of 2023, the first model rolled off the assembly line last week.

Meanwhile, Tesla is stopping production of most of its EV production at Giga Berlin, which builds the Model Y for European markets, from January 29 to February 11 due to battery deliveries from China being delayed due to the Red Sea shipping crisis. Volvo says it will build about 250 cars by the end of 2012, possibly more if market interest takes off. The Volvo C30 Electric will be manufactured and delivered to leasing customers throughout Europe, including in Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands and Norway. The operating range is up to 150 kilometers (93 miles) per full charge.
