The new jobs will support battery assembly and production of the F-150 PowerBoost hybrid and fully electric F-150. Additionally: Ford will debut new technology on the electric F-150 that allows mobile power generation so customers can use their trucks as a power source for places from campsites to jobsites when needed.

Carriers set a target that at least 5% of their deep-sea shipping will be powered by zero-emission fuels by 2030, enabled by ships capable of using zero-emission fuels. These can include battery or fuel-cell electric vehicles and also incorporate renewable sources of electricity and hydrogen for charging.

Roev will remove the ICE from Toyota Hiluxes and Ford Rangers and replace them with an electric motor and batteries. The Boston Consulting Group recently forecast that 55 percent of new utes sold in Australia by 2030 would be electric. That’s for a 64kWh battery pack with a claimed 240km of EV range.
