Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) unveiled its next Mid-Term Business Plan (MTP). Additionally, MMC will move to make 50% of global sales an EV by 2030, and then 100% of the fleet electrified by 2035 (“EV” specifically refers to a blend of plug-in hybrids (PHEV), hybrids (HEV) and pure electrics (BEV)).

The Model S is the best-selling plug-in car in the U.S. Almost two-thirds of the battery electric cars sold in the U.S. for 2016, followed by the Model X. had Tesla badges on them.

The amendments concurrently changed the IVMs’ ZEV obligations from being able to meet the mandate with super clean conventional partial zero emission vehicles (PZEV) to transitional ZEVs (TZEVs or plug in hybrids). Electric (Battery) Fuel Cells Hydrogen Plug-ins Policy' three years to make up ZEV credit deficits.

iMiEV Mitsubishi Innovative Electric Vehicle by Noel Adams Mitsubishi has been showing a number of electric cars at auto shows starting in Tokyo back in 2005, they didnt show the most recent iteration, the one that will be the production version, until the 2007 Frankfurt Auto show. The cars are also being fleet tested in Japan.

Sakura Battery Co is offering a line of EVs, including the Italian Maranello4 microcar. Limited ranged, lead-acid battery based cars, they have nonetheless proven the demand of even less than perfect electric vehicles. Mitsubishi could be the first with cars for sale if the UK distributor has its way.
