Reported Tesla supplier Saueressig Engineering plans to establish a facility in San Antonio’s East Side—about 80 miles away from Gigafactory Texas. On April 1st, the San Antonio City Council approved an economic incentive package that gave Saueressig a 75% tax abatement on a property located in Profit Drive.

We drove several F-150 Lightnings, in various trims, with and without payloads or trailers, out of San Antonio and through the winding roads of Texas hill country during the first week of May. With an available adapter, a Lightning was able to recharge the battery of a Mach-E using that car’s portable charging cord.

Broadly speaking, the researchers found that e-scooter riders suffered injuries more frequently per mile traveled than bicyclists, but bicyclists were 3 times as likely as scooter riders to be hit by motor vehicles. The rest were running errands or riding for fun or a social trip.

The technology is enabled as OnStar receives a signal from PJM Interconnection that shows the percentage of available renewable energy on the grid. Completely redesigned, the Sequoia is available in five trims—SR5, Limited, Platinum, TRD Pro and Capstone. At low speeds (under 18 miles per hour) the Sequoia hybrid can roll along in electric-only mode, but quickly adds the gasoline engine when you step on the accelerator, returning to EV mode when you lift off the pedal.
