The new EV battery recycling collaboration will be facilitated by VWGoA’s nationwide network of approximately 1,000 dealers, starting with the Volkswagen and Audi brands. Each year, Redwood already recycles more than 6 GWh of lithium-ion batteries, the equivalent of 60,000 EV batteries, in Nevada.

Genesis is on schedule to have 100+ dealers across the country in the coming years. Until then, Hyundai dealers will handle Genesis sales.

The philosophy of quality and expectations need to be met, as Genesis is an unknown entity to much of the car buying public.
