Falken Tire Europe, the European affiliate of the Japanese tire manufacturer Sumitomo Rubber and the sixth largest tire manufacturer worldwide, has launched a new summer tire with optimized rolling resistance. The new addition is a first for FALKEN’s product portfolio. The product is recommended for use with hybrid vehicles.

The EX30 is already rolling out in Europe, Japan, and Brazil. He boasted about the automaker’s pricing power, with the EX30 starting at $34,950 in the US and €36,590 in Europe. Europe was Volvo’s biggest market, with 8,799 EVs sold, up 31% YOY. The extended-range model will feature up to 275 miles driving range.

With “above-expected order rates,” Volvo will build the EX30 at its Ghent, Belgium plant (in addition to China) to meet the growing demand in Europe for low-cost EVS.
