BMW and Nissan are partnering to offer public DC Fast charging at 120 locations across 19 states in an effort to support Nissan LEAF and BMW i3 customers and to promote increased adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) nationwide. Additionally, these chargers are compatible with the Nissan EZ-Charge cards.

BMW and Nissan have again joined forces—this time with EVgo, the nation’s largest public DC Fast charging network—to increase public access to DC Fast charging stations across the US. The partners will make an additional 174 locations in 33 states available to all EV owners in those markets, and plan to install 50 more in 2017.

The BMW Group is working on a parking prediction system designed to shorten the search for vacant on-street parking, particularly in cities. The system is being displayed in a BMW i3. Dynamic Parking Prediction is able to predict parking availability using on-road vehicle movement data.
