Electrify America introduces Plug&Charge payment technology to its charging network

Electrify America’s ultra-fast charging network now offers Plug&Charge payment technology, which allows electric vehicle (EV) owners to begin a charge without reaching for their wallet, smartphone or bank card. After a brief online registration, drivers can automatically pay for charging by simply plugging in their EV.

US light-duty diesel sales climb in 2018 to 500,000 units; 3% of sales

The light-duty diesel segment is led by three models: the Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, and Ford F-150. More than 40 diesel models are available today in the United States from 10 manufacturers and brands. The F-150 diesel is new for 2018; sales represented approximately 5% of total F-150 sales.

Ford and Microsoft Partnering on EV Smart Charging

ACEA study finds cost still strong deterrent for EV uptake across Europe; calls for “realistic” targets recognizing affordability
