Electric Cars and The Volt Can Transform America and the Auto Industry TODAY!!! While, I might personally like a plug-in hybrid that then goes to hybrid, to get the market ready for the technology, an EV range / dual-fuel car can work. The range extended EV provides the consumer with a great start for an electric drive vehicle.

A thinking person should ask, “How did the Leaf owner travel the unaccounted miles, the ones that were not e-miles?” In the past the auto industry has responded to incentives and guidelines set by government agencies and reengineered their product to meet this requirement. But the real story is yet to be told.

Several global indicators on the supply of oil and the known carbon pollution environmental damages its caused all lead us to find cleaner ways of transportation. My personal criteria for an EV is 80/80 MPH/miles range, but thats because drivers either go 80 or stopped around here.
