Now that the 2011 Nissan Leaf and 2011 Chevy Volt have reached showrooms--a handful of them, anyhow--a new crop of electric vehicles will launch into the market for 2011. One of those may be the e6 all-electric crossover built by Chinese manufacturer BYD.

BYD has entered the Indian market with the model E6 which is an MPV. The Atto 3’s biggest rival will be the MG ZS EV and the Hyundai Kona Electric. BYD Atto 3 specification: Motor: BYD Atto 3 range is all about 400Km per charge, battery size 63.8, This means that it is larger than the MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona Electric.

How would you like an all-electric wagon with five seats, a rear liftgate, and 187 miles of EPA-rated range? You'd think such a vehicle might sell well, since it would have more rated range than any other electric cars on the market except the Chevy Bolt EV and anything from Tesla. Sounds pretty good, right?
