The brand is taking ABT Sportsline’s slot on the FE grid in the 2017/2018 season. Competing for Audi will be Daniel Abt (Germany) and title defender Lucas di Grassi (Brazil).

MAN is already well on its way to developing an electric distribution truck, the eTGM, which is scheduled to go into series production in 2021. We plan to deliver the first nine fully electric trucks to our customers in Austria by the end of 2017 – including large supermarket chains, breweries and haulers.

We have Chile and Brazil, and even a few customers in Africa. Even in Dubai, for example, all the taxi companies need to be fully electric by 2027. I started a company with the intention to convert regular cars to electric. And so, we started AMPECO at the end of 2018 and we went to market with our product in 2019.
