The EPA rates fuel economy at 31 mpg city/28 highway/30 combined.

Lexus is entering the 2016 model year with a three model strategy for its IS sport sedan: IS 200t, IS 300 AWD, and IS 350. Lexus developed the turbocharged engine in house, first integrated it into the NX luxury utility hybrid for 2015 model year, and modified it for IS 200t. The former IS 250 and IS 250 AWD are discontinued.

2016 RX 450h. Lexus unveiled the new fourth-generation Lexus RX at the 2015 New York Auto Show. million units—three out of ten vehicles ever sold by Lexus. The new RX lineup—the RX 350 and the RX450h hybrid—feature safety technologies that include the Lexus Safety System+ ( earlier post ).

Following the world premiere of the V8-powered LC 500 at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in January 2016, Lexus introduced its hybrid variant, the new LC 500h. The LC is a new flagship 2+2 performance coupe for Lexus’ global model range, and will go on sale in the US in Spring 2017. Earlier post.)

The 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is the first mass-market crossover utility with a hybrid powertrain since the demise of the Ford Escape Hybrid in 2012. Granted, there's the luxury Lexus NX hybrid (using some of the same underpinninngs), and the low-volume Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid, with a mild-hybrid powertrain.

The Toyota Mirai has an EPA estimated range of 312 miles on a full tank of hydrogen, with a combined city/highway fuel economy rating of 66 mpge, making the Mirai the most fuel-efficient hydrogen FCV rated by the EPA, and one with the longest range. Servco brought the first Mirai production vehicles to Hawaii in 2016.
