Volkswagen founds mobility services company in Rwanda; to begin local assembly of Polo and Passat

Volkswagen and CFAO, a long-standing partner in Africa for the distribution and assembly of vehicles, signed a letter of intent to this effect. It is planned to initially build the Volkswagen Polo and Passat models. Vehicle assembly began in Nigeria in 2015, and in Kenya in December 2016.

Tesla Q3 revenue up 10% year-on-year, losses widen; robust production outlook
