Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy announced the Connecticut Hydrogen and Electric Automobile Purchase Rebate Program (CHEAPR). Under this new initiative, a cash rebate of up to $3,000 is now available for Connecticut residents, businesses, and municipalities who purchase or lease an eligible electric vehicle (EV).

Ford Motor Company will offer three years of complimentary charging to California and Maryland customers who purchase or lease a 2016 C-MAX Energi with its pilot EV 1-2-3 Charge program. C-MAX Energi originally went on sale in late 2012, and was joined by its sedan sibling, the Fusion Energi, in February 2013. EV range is 19 miles.

announced that the 2012 Prius Plug-in has been approved for the State of California’s Clean Vehicle Rebate Program ( CVRP ). The 2012 Prius Plug-in also offers consumers eligibility for the State of California’s HOV lane sticker. These grants are available when a vehicle is either purchased or leased for 36 months or longer.

Participating Chevrolet dealers in seven key launch markets across Canada have begun taking orders for the all-new 2012 Chevrolet Volt, with an MSRP starting at C$41,545 (US$43,568). Almost nine of 10 customers who traded in a vehicle as part of their purchase are new to the Chevrolet brand.
