Ford introduced the new 2019 Transit Connect Cargo Van. More than 300,000 Transit Connect vehicles have been sold since 2009 when Ford created the segment in the United States. The 2019 Transit Connect Cargo Van offers three different engines—including a diesel—capable of running on five different fuels.

CARB, in partnership with CALSTART, launched HVIP and Low NO x Engine Incentives in 2009 to accelerate the purchase of cleaner, more-efficient trucks and buses in California. From its inception in 2009, more than $589 million has been allocated to HVIP. At the 24 October Board meeting, CARB approved changes to HVIP.

AT&T expects to spend an estimated $350 million to purchase about 8,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles and approximately $215 million to begin replacing its passenger cars with alternative-fuel models, beginning with hybrids. The new deployments will bring AT&T’s alternative-fuel fleet to more than 15,000 vehicles by 2019.
