Seychelles ranks as the most-improved country over the past decade, due largely to its commitment to combating greenhouse gas emissions. The 2018 Environmental Performance Index (EPI) finds that air quality is the leading environmental threat to public health. The EPI uses three indicators to measure air quality: household solid fuel use; PM 2.5 average exposure, and PM 2.5 exceedance of WHO thresholds.

Study Finds Indian Ocean Sea-Level Rise Threatens Coastal Areas; Climate Change Partly Responsible
