Gevo has signed a strategic alliance agreement with Alaska Airlines to purchase Gevo’s renewable jet fuel and fly the first commercial flight on alcohol-to-jet fuel (ATJ). Hydroprocessing produces renewable diesel, and can produce 50-70% jet fuel with an additional cracking step.
